JTC opened an office in Luxembourg in 2009 to provide a European centre for funds and corporate services. Our team is multi-lingual with a vast experience and understanding of corporate and fund structuring and regulation within Europe enabling us to effectively service the European private equity, real estate and hedge fund community.

In order to reinforce our dynamic and growing team, within our Luxembourg based AIFM entity, we are currently looking for a:

Senior AIFM Officer (M/F)

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Finance or comparable education;
  • At least four years of proven experience in a compliance/asset management function in the funds sector or management company in Luxembourg;
  • A clear and deep knowledge of the PE/RE and Alternative Investment Funds sector including the AML and AIF compliance laws;
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the AIFM activities, organisation and environment, including contractual and statutory obligations related to Luxembourg regulated investment funds;
  • Able to take responsibility, prioritise, use initiative and to get on with others as a team player;
  • Demonstrate motivation, positive and constructive approach, good organisational capabilities, excellent client service attitude and proactivity.
  • Able to fluently communicate in English and French, in written and verbally, any other language being an asset;

    YOUR MISSION

    You will be involved in the day-to-day management and corporate activities of an AIFM managing complex private equity and real estate's portfolio of various Alternative Investment Funds. You will directly report to the Conducting Officers.  Some of the duties include:

    Administration & Finance

  • Lead the organisation, coordination and prepare the minutes of various meeting (Conducting Officer meeting, Board meeting, …);
  • Prepare the conducting officer and board packs;
  • Update the corporate legal documentation;
  • Lead and coordinate any request linked to the operational life of the company;
  • Draft the agreements (roll forward);
  • Follow up the payment of the invoices and perform the cash flow monitoring of the AIFM;

    Funds

  • Maintain and follow up the deadlines in the Fund calendar;
  • Maintain the fund database up-to-date;
  • Assist and liaise with the central administration's teams for the purpose of the audit, accounting or transfer agent;
  • Follow up the subscription process to ensure the success of the subscription process in our funds;
  • Perform the cash flow monitoring of the funds;
  • Coordinate FATCA/CRS for the funds;

    Delegate monitoring

  • Follow up KPIs and escalate potential issues to the Conducting Officers;
  • Liaise with delegates to ensure a good cooperation (provide document, information in the context of the oversight, …);

    Domiciliation

  • Circulate invoices to the general partners of the Funds for their approval and within JTC entities;
  • Act as the owner of the BCL reporting, respecting deadlines;
  • Coordinate the RC approval process with the board of the Fund (drafting the board resolution, the agreement and coordination until the execution of the documents);
  • Support the Conducting Officer in the administrative tasks;

    AML/Compliance

  • Prepare the RC report for the Funds and the Compliance report of the AIFM;
  • Update procedures and assist on compliance matters (update of procedures, compliance monitoring program, …)

    Marketing

  • Collect, analyse and follow up KPIs from business intermediaries;
  • Maintain and create a calendar about reporting deadlines with local authorities;
  • Participate to the meeting with the business intermediaries and draft the minutes;
  • Draft marketing agreement.
