As we expand our portfolio of missions and partnerships with ESA, the European Commission, and the Greek government, we are seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to coordinate proposals and contractors end-to-end, ensuring successful planning across technical, implementation, financial, and contractual aspects.

Proposal & Opportunity Management

· Continuously monitor and identify funding and tender opportunities with ESA, EU, EDA, and Greek national programs.

· Lead the preparation of complete project proposals, including objectives, scope, work breakdown structure, schedules, resources, risk registers, and compliance documents.

· Coordinate internal contributors and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality proposal submissions.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

· Develop detailed project budgets, including personnel, equipment, travel, subcontracting, and capital expenditures.

· Track and monitor project spending and financial performance.

Consortium & Stakeholder Coordination

· Build, lead, and coordinate consortia of partners and subcontractors; ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and timelines.

· Serve as the main point of contact for ESA, the European Commission, and national agencies.

· Manage institutional projects and interface with internal technical, financial, and commercial teams.

Contracting & Procurement

· Lead RFP/RFQ processes with suppliers and partners, including evaluation, selection, negotiations, and issuing purchase orders.

· Coordinate invoicing and suppliers delivery and reviews to ensure contractual and financial compliance.

Project Assurance & Delivery

· Ensure proposals and projects comply with ECSS, PA/QA, and other applicable quality standards.

· Prepare milestone documentation, progress reports, deliverables, and closure reports.

· Support resource planning and coordinate technical teams to maintain project momentum.

Other

· Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and milestone meetings (travel required).

· M.Sc. in Aerospace or Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

· 3-5 years of experience in space or telecommunication engineering and proposal/bid management.

· Hands-on experience coordinating and managing projects with ESA and EU, with proven successful proposals record.

· Strong background in project management methodologies, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in technical and business negotiations.

· Experience in writing documentation and managing proposal applications.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, make effective decisions, and delegate when necessary.

· Self-starter with adaptability to change in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

· Proficiency in spoken and written English.

· Important: Already a resident in Europe or holds a valid European work visa.

Nice to Have

· Managed big consortia and successfully won projects.

· Experience in tailoring ECSS standards for space projects, including PA/QA and project management standards.

· Knowledge of satellite communications, 5G systems, and direct-to-device initiatives.
