OQ Technology, a pioneering company in the Satellite Telecommunications industry, is seeking a dynamic and strategic VP of Finance to join our innovative team. With a dedicated workforce of 11-40 employees, we are at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge satellite communication solutions. As our VP of Finance, you will play a crucial role in steering our financial strategy, driving growth, and enhancing shareholder value. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and providing leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our financial decisions to support our ambitious goals and ensure our continued success in the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape. Tasks- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth in the satellite telecommunications industry.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis, to optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, with strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage investor relations and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including board members and potential investors.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing finance teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong financial modelling skills .
