ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products (AME LP) is operating a network of 10 steel plants, 17 rolling mills and multiple downstream units, producing and commercializing over 9 million tons per year.

Aiming to optimize its operations, AME LP is looking for a Full-Stack Data Scientist to join the central marketing department to take a key role in the pricing team and the digitalization transformation. Pricing is the motor driving any industry. Our team specializes in delivering analytics/AI/ML based pricing solutions to various businesses within the ArcelorMittal Long Products organization. As a part of this role you will get a chance to work with the latest technologies in the domain of ML and data science in general. The main responsibilities will include designing, delivering, and maintaining end-to-end production ready AI and pricing solutions. This involves interaction with marketing and sales teams to continuously improve pricing solutions through better business domain knowledge.

Your role

Contribute to providing stakeholders (management, sales teams) with consolidated, structured, and controlled information on market trends - volumes, prices, demand, imports, competition - to protect ArcelorMittal's volumes, market share, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Planning

  • Lead data collection and meeting preparation for:
  • Most Recent Forecast (MRF)
  • Budget and Multi-Year Plan
  • Business Area Review

Business Intelligence

  • Produce the Construction Newsletter covering:
  • Steel prices (beams, rebar, wire rod – domestic/import/export)
  • Cement prices
  • Macro indicators (Eurozone, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland)
  • SWIP Construction data
  • Collect, store, and report selected macroeconomic indicators
  • Coordinate CCM strategic marketing cycle documentation for Sections and B&R
  • Conduct market demand studies
  • Support preparation of slides for the Competition Seminar
  • Design and manage customer surveys with support from CMO teams, including data consolidation and reporting

Compliance

  • Coordinate anti-trust demand responses
  • Support audit processes

Communication

  • Prepare and coordinate Wire Fair Düsseldorf 2026
  • Maintain and update relevant content on the company website

  • Proficient in Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); affinity for digital tools.

Other important details

  • Full-time position, based in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg
  • Normal hours are 8 hours per day plus lunch, Monday to Friday
  • Start and finish times are flexible to fit personal needs
  • Teleworking day available up to 1 day a week.
