Supervisory Human Resources Assistant

Serves as the senior adviser to the Management Officer in all aspects of human resource management and supervises the human resource operations of the embassy for both LE Staff and American employees (Diplomats and Eligible Family Members) at post. Directly supervises one LE Staff HR Assistant in the Human Resource Office. Reports to the Management Officer.
EXPERIENCE: At least five years of progressively responsible work experience in the specialist area of human resource management is required, of which one year is in a supervisory role.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Considerable knowledge of Luxembourg and EU labor laws.
**Education Requirements**:
Completion of a University degree of at least 4 years duration in Human Resource Management, Business Management or Public Administration is required.
LANGUAGE: Fluency in English and French. This may be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with employees and supervisors. Ability to use tact, discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive personnel matters. This may be tested.
**Salary**: From €5,922.00 per month
