**About our client**
Our client is a global alternative investment firm which is launching its 4th private equity fund. Their programme consists of 70% primaries in lower-mid to mid-market funds, and 30% co-investments (co-underwrite & post-syndication). Historically, they have had a 90% deployment rate in North America and 10% Europe and are expecting same balance in their new upcoming vintage. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a first fund selection experience to join a dynamic and well capitalised structure and further grow your GP network and lead on both primary investments and co-investments. **What the job involves**
- Take an active part in new investment origination and execution for funds and co-investments opportunities
- Lead full due diligence and execution on investment opportunities, delivering investment committee memos to articulate and defend your views and opinions in front of senior management.
- Monitor the performance of the firm's existing portfolio (GPs and underlying portfolio companies)
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
**Who we are looking for**
- Previous experience in private equity fund selection is essential: demonstrable track record in investment analysis and portfolio management.
- University degree with from a leading institution
- Fluent English, other language an asset
