**Senior Accountant - Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day financial processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting within an in-house structure.
- Maintain and update comprehensive accounting records, ensuring precision and transparency.
- Process and book vendor invoices, managing the day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage relationships with vendor controlling departments, addressing and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns for EU offices, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify financial accuracy.
- Support the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
**Senior Accountant - Your Profile**:
- ** ACCA qualification (or progress towards certification)**:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Big 4 firm, investment firm or financial in-house accounting role
- Strong knowledge of LuxGAAP, IFRS, (UKGAAP is a +)
- Fluent in **English**; additional European languages are a plus
- A detail-oriented, proactive approach with a collaborative, team-focused attitude
- Experience in **EMEA market sectors** is a plus, but must have solid Luxembourg experience
