Our **Delta Operations** team is looking for a senior accountant for our fasts growing activities with our client. The primary focus of this role will be on Opex accounting, including handling invoices and performing bank account reconciliations.
**The Senior accountant will have the following responsibilities**:
- Managing the Opex accounting process, including the accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Performing bank account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Preparing financial reports and statements, providing insights and analysis on Opex expenditures.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
- Assisting with other accounting tasks as required to support the finance team during the transition period.
**Requirements**:
**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications**:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of Opex accounting processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong ability to perform data manipulation and efficiently utilize filters.
- License or Master II qualification in accounting, finance or equivalent
- English and French speaking are mandatory, additional language is considered as an advantage.
