Human Resources Specialist with Expertise in HR Operations

Lombard International Assurance S.A. is a leading European provider of cross-border wealth, estate and succession planning solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team as a HR Operations Senior Officer. This role will be responsible for managing employee information and documentation, ensuring compliance with labour law, collective agreements, policies, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have between 5-10 years of experience in HR operations and/or compensation and benefits, with a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices. They will be fluent in English and French, and have advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

As a HR Operations Senior Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and managing contractual documentation, including employment contracts, amendments, letters, and certificates
  • Managing the administrative onboarding of new hires and offboarding of leavers, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and requirements
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS system
  • Ensuring the accurate maintenance and security of hard and digital personnel records, in compliance with data protection regulations
  • Providing guidance and answering employee queries, according to LIA Service Excellence criteria

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Luxembourg, working closely with the Talent & Employee Relations team to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in HR or a related field, with relevant professional training
  • Between 5-10 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within compensation and benefits
  • Strong knowledge of labour law, social security, and immigration law
  • Client service-oriented and solution-driven approach
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and autonomous individual
