This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Account Officer - International Market. As a key member of our team, you will provide daily support to Partners, Clients, and Sales colleagues, handling daily workloads with accuracy and timeliness.
You will be responsible for processing policy transactions, servicing, and query resolution during the life cycle of a policy, including document management. You will also proactively follow up and monitor all transactions and queries received from both internal and external parties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for partner and client queries received by email, fax, post, or telephone
- Responding to queries in an effective, professional, and timely manner, ensuring a high level of service
- Processing policy transactions, servicing, and query resolution during the life cycle of a policy, including document management
- Assisting in processing due diligence reviews of transactions in line with corporate standards
- Developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with our sales consultants and partners
- Maintaining an ongoing awareness of services, reviewing procedures, and ensuring quality improvements are made as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or any other relevant field and/or relevant experience in Client Services in the insurance sector
- 3+ years' experience in Finance or Insurance
- Strong team player with excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to clearly and comprehensively outline complex issues both verbally and in writing
- Multi-task efficiently between routine tasks and urgent queries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all duties
- Strong prioritisation skills, flexible, reliable, and responsible in challenging situations
- Decisive and capable of working independently
- Strong client service focus, solutions-oriented, and capable of ensuring a high service level to clients
- Ability to work in a regulated environment and to respect external and internal guidelines
- Ability to maintain performance and positive relationships in stressful/challenging situations
- Agility and pragmatism in a complex and changing environment
- Aware of developments within the financial/insurance sector in general and competent in dealing with transfer requests and financial instruments
- Good command of MS Office products
- Fluent in English
