**The role**
A key responsibility to classify hot, warm, and cold leads based on their need, budget, and decision-making capabilities. Accordingly, take the necessary steps to convert hot leads and nurture warm and cold leads. Participate in webinars, in-person events, conferences and network with peers and target audience to identify sales opportunities. You’ll be required to research the target market during the lead generation activities and understand the pain points faced by the prospects during communication. Identify if they’re looking for specific features and check for competitor products mentioned/used by leads and prospects during communication and the intent behind using them.
We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Present, promote and sell products/services/solutions to prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the industry
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Generate new business leads/meetings
- Organize and keep the lead status updated in the CRM software
- Understand how the sales process works and manage the sales pipeline
- Interact professionally with leads, existing customers, and other company stakeholders via various communication mediums
- Collaborate with marketing and sales team members to work on tasks relevant to lead generation
- Cultivate in-depth product knowledge and understanding to ensure that you can effectively communicate the product features, use cases, and benefits to the prospective customers
- Follow company decorum at all times when representing the organization
- To perform any other duties that may be required.
**Skills Required**:
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Excellent communication skills, as well as a good listener and collaborator.
- Keep informed of the latest industry and company developments to help with personal and professional development.
- Fluent in English, additional languages will be an advantage.
- Experience of sales and CRM systems
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Previous financial services and/or communications industry experience considered advantageous.
