Join us as Assistant Department Head Client Service-Alternatives

In this role you will be part of a senior management team overseeing the operations of Accounting, Consolidation & Financial. Reporting for the Alternative Funds servicing business line. This position requires Accounting,

Consolidation & Financial. Reporting experience, leadership, initiative, creativity, and management skills including a keen eye for risk control and process management. In addition, this position requires excellent client service and communication skills and previous experience in illiquid alternative asset classes.

**Responsibilities**:
1.Client Service and Operations- Ensure cross functional service excellence, focusing on accounting, consolidation and financial reporting deliverables- Support new business on-boarding, identifying the new and different and escalating- Work with product and operational colleagues to define effective, risk controlled and scalable processes- Participate in Business Development activities, supporting in RPF meetings etc.- Lead client meetings/visits representing BBH senior SME for Accounting, Consolidation & Financial Reporting- Build and maintain strong internal, client, audit and other business relationships

2. Management:
- Direct management of a staff of 2-4 CSMs and their teams (10 - 15 professionals each) servicing a significant number of clients- Regular performance appraisals for direct reports- Salary and bonus planning- Mapping employee career development plans- Succession planning at all levels- Recruitment of staff- Acting as a mentor and coach to staff

**Requirements**:
- BS in a business degree program; MBA a benefit- 8/10 years operational experience in corporate or group accounting environment or in an audit / consulting environment.- 7+ years management experience- Experience in group accounting procedures and financial consolidation- Experience in IFRS compliant Financial Reporting and extensive knowledge of IFRS- Experience working on multiple client relationships- Demonstrable client service skills- Excellent presentation skills- Independent thinker and worker- Excellent motivator- Communicate openly and sincerely and conduct oneself with the highest respect for the client and all BBH support areas- Ability to recommend and implement change- Ability to manage multiple priorities- Experience working on system implementation projects.
