Position Summary
The Compliance Function team consists of 16 employees, based out of London, New York, Luxembourg and Warsaw. In addition to the permanent team various external providers are used from time to time.
ICG Europe SARL is the European AIFM of ICG and manages third party funds in the private equity, real estate and direct lending areas as well as some more liquid funds in the fixed income world. To cope with the growth of the activities of the AIFM, we are looking for a new Compliance Associate Director, in order to assist the Compliance Conducting Officer in the performance of his compliance duties on behalf of the AIFM.
Reporting directly to the Compliance Conducting Officer, this role will support the implementation and review of the Compliance programme of ICG Europe SARL and ensure the AIFM is performing its Compliance monitoring in line with regulatory requirements. In addition, the position will require to have a close cooperation with ICG Group Risk function to ensure ICG Europe appropriately implements the Group’s operational risk framework. This will ensure ICG Luxembourg applies a consistent framework in line with ICG group processes whilst adhering the standards in place in Luxembourg.
Primary Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the day-to-day compliance support for management;- Participating to the maintenance of the Luxembourg Compliance monitoring programme;- Assisting and deputising for the Compliance Conducting Officer, as well as reporting to the Board of the AIFM and to the Board of the AIFs.- Assisting the Compliance Conducting Officer in the maintenance and update of policies and procedures as well as the preparation of returns and submissions to the CSSF.- Carrying out Compliance related reviews;- Working closely with the business and global Compliance functions to implement related regulatory change, focusing on ensuring a robust control environment is in place to meet the regulatory requirements.- Liaising with Internal Audit.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications- Extensive experience in working in the asset management industry, with a good background in Compliance.- Previous exposure to the private equity and/or private debt sector would be an advantage- Ability to work autonomously and to manage priorities within a short timeframe- Exposure to regulated environment in previous roles would be an asset- Collaborative approach to delivery and results oriented
