Today, we are currently recruiting a Real Estate and Infrastructure Director.

Your responsibilities

Your daily tasks

• Participating in the development and overseeing the execution of the long-term real estate and infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategic growth, sustainability objectives, and operational excellence goals

• Proposing and managing operating and capital expenditure budgets that support the strategic plan, ensuring fiscal discipline while meeting project objectives

• Overseeing the planning and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards

• Operating and maintaining the infrastructure portfolio

• Supervising a team of 50 professionals through intermediary management levels, ensuring effective coordination of infrastructure maintenance, project delivery, and operational support across the organization's portfolio

• Structuring the team to accommodate growing activities and significant future investments, which will involve the development of new operational facilities and enhancements to existing assets

• Managing the organization's real estate portfolio, including leasing, acquisitions, and property development, to maximize financial returns and operational efficiency

• Maintaining full compliance with applicable regulations at local (communal), national (governmental), and international levels, ensuring that all infrastructure and real estate activities meet legal and regulatory requirements

• Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, investors, local authorities, and industry partners, to foster collaboration and drive mutual success

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and project management, to modernize and expand the new facilities while ensuring seamless integration with current operations

• Championing environmental sustainability by ensuring all real estate and infrastructure projects adhere to environmental standards and align with the organization's sustainability goals

• Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to deliver impactful projects and achieve organizational objectives

Your other missions

• Participating in the integration of new employees

• Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior

The required profile

Studies / training

Master's degree in Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate, infrastructure development, or a similar role, preferably in the aviation or logistics/transportation industry

• Proven experience in leading large-scale development projects

Skills and knowledge required

IT Tools

Mandatory:

Microsoft Office suite

Languages

Mandatory:

• French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)

• English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)

Nice-to-have:

• German / Luxembourgish: the knowledge of those languages would be an asset.

Know-how and interpersonal skills specific to the job

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects, with specific expertise in overseeing comparable infrastructure programs.

• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

• Excellent collaborative, team work, hands-on and " lead by example " attitude.

• Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulatory frameworks related to infrastructure and real estate in the aviation sector.
