Our job opportunityToday, we are currently recruiting an Airside Engineer - Team "New Projects" - in Finance and Real Estate Department.
NB: Given the nature of the position, it may be subject to occasional on-call duty to meet operational requirements. Please take this into account when applying.
Your responsibilities
Your daily tasks
Simultaneously managing several projects of various sizes and nature in the fields of civil engineering and/or specific airport electrical and technical installations (Airfield ground lighting-AGL)
Defining concepts, solutions and methodologies in response to technical and operational airport constraints and needs
Drawing up specifications, plans, invitations to tender, carrying out risk analyses and budgetary monitoring of airport maintenance projects and works
Planning, coordinating, organising and monitoring the execution of projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, in accordance with the specifications and allocated budgets
Supporting the development of the Geographic Information System (GIS) and ensure the updating of the data contained therein
Planing, coordinating, organising and monitoring the execution of projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, in accordance with the specifications and budgets allocated
Ensuring the provision and follow-up of updates to documentation and plans
Taking charge of the management of internal preventive and corrective maintenance activities for airport civil engineering infrastructures
Supporting the management of external maintenance activities of airport technical and electrical installations in order to guarantee their operational maintenance
Coordinating internal and external resources according to capacity, skills and experience to ensure the successful execution of projects
Preparing and participating in internal and external audits (EASA-DAC) in collaboration with the different entities involved
Developing tools, procedures, documents (manuals, reports, etc) and ensuring their follow-up in compliance with the airport regulations in force
Developing relationships and synergies with local external entities in charge of airport techniques, organising and coordinating with them maintenance and construction work in compliance with contractual agreements and regulations in force
Planing and budgeting maintenance works and airside engineering projects
Supporting the maintenance and project department teams as required
Your other missions
Participating in inclusion initiatives (e.g. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower project, for people with invisible disabilities).
Participating in the integration of new employees
Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior
The required profile
Studies / training
Postgraduate degree (Engineer or Master) in civil or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
Experience
10 years experience in civil or electrical engineering;
The following experience is desirable for the position:
Skills and knowledge required
IT Tools
Mandatory:
Microsoft Office Suite ;
Specific knowledge of project management (MS project);
Knowledge of CAD tools (Autocad, GIS-ESRI);
Knowledge of the bus system (EIB/ KNX).
Languages
Mandatory:
English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
Nice-to-have:
German / Luxembourgish: the knowledge of those languages would be an asset.
Know-how and interpersonal skills specific to the job
Knowledge of EASA regulations relating to airport infrastructure.
Other
Valid permanent B driving licence
