Job Description:
Our client, an esteemed Alternative Asset Management Company with a broad illiquid product offering, is looking to hire a Front Office Product Management Specialist in Luxembourg.
This is a new role in a newly created team where you will work to support the wider European product team to manage fund events.
There are many interesting dimensions to the role, which include but are not limited to:- Managing and supporting fund events over the product lifecycle, working with various stakeholders including product developers and Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management teams, to ensure objectives are met and compliance with policy and procedure
- Acting as a project manager to implement all fund event streams in accordance with product management requirements and timeframes
- Working with relevant teams to ensure effective and accurate communications around fund events
- Ensure correct governance over all fund events including status updates, product approvals, adherence to regulations, amendments to legal documentation such as the prospectus, as well as all internal systems being reflective of status and updates
- Acting as a point of contact for all fund event implementation matters, working with internal and external stakeholders accordingly
- At least 5 or more years' experience within the funds industry in Luxembourg, with experiences in product management/product implementation or related roles
- Finance qualification or related certification appreciated (CFA, CAIA )
- Knowledge of alternative products and an understanding of regulatory requirements associated with those products
- To be collaborative and have ability to build strong relationships across internal and external partnerships
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Project management and organization skills
- Fluent in English both written and verbal, with another European language advantageous
