Position Summary


ICG Europe SARL is the European AIFM of ICG and manages third party funds in private equity, real estate and direct lending.


Reporting directly to the Conducting Officer responsible for Portfolio Management, Distribution and IT, this role will focus on the oversight of activities delegated by the AFIM according to CSSF Circular 18/698.

The role will also be responsible for assisting the Conducting Officer to monitor the activity of the European branch network.

Primary Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the day-to-day oversight controls are operating effectively on activity which has been delegated to other parts of the ICG Group, specifically focussing on portfolio management and distribution.
  • Identifying and ensuring that all issues have been reported or escalated and measuring progress on the remediation plans at delegate level.
  • Contributing in the initial and ongoing duediligence process over delegates and monitoring KPIs
  • Providing the Conducting Officers with appropriate level of Management Information including written oversight reports.
  • Ensuring that the provision of IT services by ICG Group to ICG Europe is clearly understood and documented in accordance with local regulatory expectations.
  • Assisting in the Fund onboarding process and any project which involves the appointment of a new delegate, including coordination with the Groupwide operations team.
  • Assisting in completing due diligence questionnaires received from third parties (investors, depositaries)
  • Coordinating with the Risk and Compliance function to notify and document risk events
Key Requirements / Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of:

  • Analytical/audit skills, knowledge of controls and processes within portfolio management and/or distribution functions
  • Completing due diligence
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Good communication skills and relationship building
  • Fluent English
  • Working knowledge of French or German is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin or similar is desirable.
  • Experience in fund operations/distribution
  • Experience in an oversight or monitoring role
  • 5+ years' experience in either fund management, audit/consulting, bank
