System Infrastructure Engineer
- ALTEN Luxembourg The Position As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a System Infrastructure Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Luxembourg. As a System Infrastructure Engineer , your main missions will consist in developing and coordinating complex power electronic inverter systems, ensuring system-level robustness and contributing to technical excellence across projects. Key Roles and Responsabilities
- Own the development and delivery of assigned system infrastructure functions for HV inverter and electrified powertrain throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop robust system concepts and requirements considering quality, performance, cost, timing, and customer expectations.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and cross-functional teams, acting as the technical focal point for assigned functions.
- Drive teams for different competencies like Hardware, Software, Calibration, Safety, and Test teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and define effective system-level solutions for technical issues and defects.
- Support Functional Safety activities, including Technical Safety Concepts, SFMEA, and FTA in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams.
- Report technical status, risks, and mitigation plans to engineering and project management.
- Participate in customer meetings and travel as required (up to 25%).
Your profile
- You have a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- You have minimum 8 years of experience in automotive system development, preferably in HV Inverters, Power Electronics, or Electrified Powertrain Systems.
- You have a strong expertise in HV inverter infrastructure functions like power supplies and microcontroller safety mechanisms.
- You have a solid Systems Engineering background, including requirements development, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
- You have proven technical leadership, ownership, and ability to drive complex technical topics to successful completion.
- You have knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and High Voltage (HV) Safety requirements.
- You have experience in working directly with automotive customers and managing technical stakeholder discussions.
- You have excellent communication skills in English; German and/or French is an advantage.
- You have experience with Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, and MATLAB/Simulink is beneficial.
- You have a customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountability, ownership, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global automotive development environment.
