Our client, a prestigious European institution at the heart of the EU’s financial architecture, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for a strategic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiative. The role requires strong business acumen, communication skills, and experience managing projects within complex organisational environments. The successful candidate will join the EU's lending arm, which finances strategic projects that strengthen economic resilience, accelerate the green and digital transitions, and support communities across all member states.
Contract type: Freelancer agreement, with an initial contract duration and the possibility for renewal.
Compensation: daily rate of 570 euros
Workplace type: On-site from the office of the institution in Luxembourg City
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of projects and programmes from initiation to closure. Plan, manage, and monitor scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and support decision-making at all levels of the organisation. Prepare project reporting and communicate progress, issues, and risks to senior management. Apply recognised project management methodologies and best practices. Required Qualifications & Experience University degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Hands-on experience with CRM, in particular Microsoft Dynamics Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) or equivalent experience. Proven experience managing large-scale projects and/or programmes, including IT implementation initiatives. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience managing resources, priorities, risks, and customer expectations. Ability to work effectively in complex environments and engage with senior leadership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Advantageous Experience in business analysis, architecture, or technical design. Strong understanding of business needs and digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Experience leading and mentoring project teams.
