About the Role
Under the supervision of your hierarchical line, you are in charge of all matters that are in the department competences. A particular focus is put on the conduction of servicing and of clients and prospects. Responsibilities
• Support the Head of department and team leaders in daily activities, when required;
• Oversee group mailbox monitoring and follow‐up of communication with clients and colleagues in Tokyo;
• Make sure adequate controls and processing requirements are met;
• Participate to projects and initiatives to help contribute to the enhancement of processes and to the improvement of overall Bank processes;
• Ensure that the client needs are perfectly understood and met;
• Ensure effective understanding of specific process and strict adherence to relevant procedures using the groups Follow the Sun capabilities;
• Maintain proper communication with external counterparts as well as other internal departments (Compliance department, Operations, Legal);
• Ensure appropriate steps with internal and external stakeholders;
• Support adequate reporting when needed;
• When required, organise, attend or delegate presentations/demonstrations to prospects and existing clients (e.g. on features of CustodyConnect Webportal, Custody discussions and its technical aspects such as SWIFT etc, Service reviews, etc.);
• Strive to maintain good organisation and control in Client Service activities; Required Skills
• Fluent in English and Native level in Japanese (reading writing speaking)
• Sufficient Experience in financial institution
• Knowledge about custody business and Basic Microsoft skills (excel word PowerPoint).
