Your team The Pictet Group is one of the world’s leading independent wealth and asset managers. By developing and maintaining a modern, robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable, high-quality services for Pictet wealth management, asset management and real estate clients. Your role Understand how double taxation treaties work and apply them in practice. Analyze the recoverable amount’s potential derived from incomes. Understand differences between legal structures of clients (e.g., individuals, companies, trusts, etc.) from a tax point of view. Manage the entire tax recovery process: Prepare tax reclaim requests. Complete and gather the relevant documentation in a timely manner, following up on the process until acceptance on the sub-custodian or tax administration side. Respond to external requests for information from sub-custodians and tax administrations. Reconcile and credit the tax recoverable amounts refunded. Collaborate with the Business Process Manager (BPM) of the service, as well as the IT department, to implement legal and process changes into the tax system tool. Ensure all data is up to date in the tax tool to avoid production errors. Work in close collaboration with the different teams of the Tax department. Handle inquiries and address country-specific tax questions from internal counterparties. Analyze potential changes/opportunities in new markets. Report to management with recurrent and accurate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

Your profile
Requested

experience:
Master’s degree in Finance or Economics. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the tax department of an audit/tax firm or the back-office department of a bank. Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good knowledge of banking systems (e.g., Avaloq). Soft

skills:
Ability to cope with stress and work in a consistently changing environment. Strong team spirit, analytical skills, and results-driven mindset. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proactive, autonomous, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Language

skills:
Fluent in French and English.
