The Luxembourg Stock Exchange is looking for a: Senior Data Sales Manager Permanent contract (F/M) As Senior Data Sales Manager at LuxSE, you will drive the commercial development of the company's Market Data and Sustainable Data offering. You will play a key role in strengthening LuxSE's position as the financial market infrastructure (FMI) of choice for international securities, while driving business growth and profitability through client acquisition and value creation. Tasks/missions/responsibilities
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Market Infrastructure and Data Solutions aligned with the corporate strategy and the product portfolio
• Exercise the Data Sales management at LuxSE and execute the workflow across the complete chain, from prospecting to closing deals
• Strengthen existing client relationships and build new ones (banks, asset managers, data vendors, fintechs and other data users); manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor and report on the commercial performance of our data products by analysing monthly vendor reportings and create dashboards (KPIs)
• Contribute to the definition of pricing, licensing policies and sales processes relating to Market Data and Sustainable Data products.
• Develop new products with stakeholders from other departments to add value to the business; monitor market trends, anticipate future customer needs and feed the product roadmap with market feedback;
• Participate actively in projects with impacts on Data Sales
• Act as opinion leader externally, contribute to raising LuxSE visibility and represent it actively in conferences and industry events Education & experience
• Degree in Business/Economics/Finance or a related field;
• Min. 7 years of experience in business-to-business sales of financial market data, sustainable finance/ESG data or comparable information services;
• Strong expertise & proven track record in selling data products and licences to institutional clients;
• Solid knowledge of fixed income and sustainable finance markets and of the market data ecosystem (exchanges, vendors, index providers);
• A previous experience in an exchange, a data vendor, an index provider or another financial market infrastructure is an asset. Technical competencies
• Sales strategy & pipeline management, from prospecting to signature;
• Knowledge of data licensing models, redistribution rights and the regulatory framework applicable to market data;
• Excellent business negotiation skills;
• Strong stakeholder management & communication skills;
• Excellent presentation & business writing skills;
• Data-driven decision-making & analytical capabilities;
• Proficiency in the use of usual office automation tools (MS-Suite) and CRM tools. Soft skills competencies
