Do you know that lux-Airport is the operating company of Luxembourg airport, providing direct flight services to 89 destinations and employing 350 people ?
- In 2021 and despite the health crisis, we welcomed 1.4 million passengers (compared to 4.4 million passengers in 2019) and we have the ambition to increase this number and continue to develop our activities

To achieve this goal and as part of the development of the Operations department, we are looking to hire immediately a:

- **Business Aviation Center Manager.**
- As the manager of a team of 8 people, you will be under the supervision of the Director of Operations of the airport.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**_What you will be doing :_**

**PEOPLE**
- Being a seasoned people Manager, training, developing and coaching the team of BAC agents and administrative coordinator in daily airport operations
- Being responsible for the integration of new employees
- Solving problems arising from operations issues that require coordination with other departments
- Strong Stakeholder Management

**DAILY OPERATIONS**
- Ensuring the establishment and management of handling services orders, to guarantee the planning and follow-up of these services on a daily basis
- Carrying out the administrative follow-up of the performance of subcontractors
- Being responsible for customer follow-up, invoicing and complaints
- Being responsible for the general supervision of the smooth running of the daily operations
- Ensuring that all BAC facilities are kept to the appropriate standard.
- Being able to, and if necessary, ensure an efficient replacement of the BAC agents on their basic tasks

**FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION**
- Assisting in the preparation of investments and annual operating budget to support BAC operations
- Managing, organizing and develop the BAC activities using the principle of a profit center

**PROCESSES**
- As Business Aviation Process Owner, optimizing and initiating modifications to the relevant processes, procedures and manuals.
- Assisting in the development and coordination of aviation processes and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Drafting the instructions and implement these in collaboration with the team of BAC agents and the administrative coordinator
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations in order that all operations are executed in accordance
- Being responsible for the implementation and monitoring of a corrective action program following customer quality audits.

**PROTOCOL**
- Being the point of contact, and responsible for the organization of the Salon d'Honneur (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Protocol) activities. Organizing in coordination with all stakeholders and suppliers, the protocol activities taking place in the Salon d'Honneur.

**SPECIAL EVENTS AND FLIGHTS**
- Being responsible to organize special events and flights
- Reporting line directly to COO

**MUST HAVE**
**REQUIREMENTS**

**_What you will need :_**

**Etudes / formations**:

- Graduate degree (Bachelor) or equivalent experience

**Skills**
- Be proactive and stress-resistant in a complex and multitasking environment
- Work in an environment where discretion is required
- Have an analytical sense and be able to evolve in a dynamic environment
- People management skills

**Experience**:

- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Private Aviation, airport, Commercial aviation
- Having worked in hospitality is a plus

**Languages**:

- French: fluent in speaking and writing
- English: fluent in spoken language and writing
- 3rd Language preferable. German, Spanish, Portuguese
- Luxembourgish: basic operational knowledge is a plus

**Additional Skills**:

- Mastery of common office tools (Office Pack)
