Head of Clm Lux

**Goal**:
The Head of CLM Luxembourg has overall responsibility to deliver the KYC agenda for DB Luxembourg as part of Deutsche Bank’s global KYC Operations platform in an efficient, scalable and high-quality manner for respective DB Luxembourg clients and business lines. This includes direct oversight of all KYC Operations and related activities in Luxembourg, ensuring that all tasks are managed in a timely manner with a focus on client centricity and regulatory adherence. In addition to the prime responsibility for Luxembourg, (s)he will also act as regional point to deliver the Risk & Control requirements for KYC Ops across Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA).

**Role summary**:
The Head of CLM Luxembourg has overall responsibility for delivering on the KYC requirements for DB Luxembourg IB & CB clients including maintaining DB’s license to operate. The role holder ensures timely delivery towards quantitative and qualitative Due Diligence KPIs. In addition, role holder acts as point for KYC Operations’ Client Aligned Delivery (CAD) activity and all related activities performed by the on-shore Risk & Control, Initiatives and Static Data/Client Account Management teams.

In order to deliver the production agenda, the Head of CLM Luxembourg has direct and indirect oversight of the relevant on-shore KYC Operations and related teams:

- Direct responsibility for all Client Aligned Delivery activities in Luxembourg
- Oversight of the Due Diligence activities and teams on-shore focused on delivering all KYC Production requirement across both Periodic Review, irrespective if performed through End-to-End or separate maker-checker and outreach teams:

- The NCA production teams manage and deliver completions of DB Luxembourg’s New Client Acceptance KYC cases for all CB & IB clients;
- The Periodic Review KYC production teams manage and deliver completions of DB Luxembourg’s client portfolio across CB & IB. This is predominantly the ILA PR portfolio;
- Management of the CLM Luxembourg Oversight functions in place to manage the production of off-shore produced files, which includes responsibilities for spot-checks and case management;
- Management of the Initiatives team;
- Management of the Risk & Control team;
- Oversight of the Static Data / Client Account Management (CAM) team.

For the regional responsibility for Risk & Control across KYC Operations EMEA, the role holder:

- Works in tandem with the regional ERT team and local KYC Ops teams to ensure all KPMG, Audit and Self-Identified Issues are timely resolved with no overdues;
- Timely escalates as appropriate to the Head of KYC Ops EMEA and related stakeholders.

Due to the wide variety of activities, the role holder maintains frequent contact with all relevant local and international stakeholders within the KYC process, both within KYC Ops regionally and globally but also global Coverage, Product Teams, AFC, QA and Audit. For this role, fostering inclusive leadership and contributing to becoming a learning organisation across the CLM Luxembourg team, DB Luxembourg and KYC Operations and DB at large globally will be a core value added.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understands, translates, communicates and applies business strategies and objectives within own area of responsibility, ensuring that direct reports and functional teams are aligned to overall strategy, objectives and are following associated processes
- Provides direction, management and oversight of the CLM function ensuring that operations are running effectively across both Client Aligned Delivery and Due Diligence
- Stays abreast of AFC related regulatory changes and industry trends and topics to ensure the quality of the KYC operations meets policy requirements
- Responsible for ensuring that all due diligence cases are managed; ensuring that all aspects of delivery are running effectively and if necessary, escalating issues to the Regional Head of KYC Ops
- Proactively engages with stakeholders to steer business practices towards quality client due diligence and risk management
- Escalation point for issues and face off to Senior Key Stakeholders
- Develop and produce critical MI to department performance, risk quantification and stratification, and resource capacity limitations
- Represent CLM Luxembourg for CAD on regional and global senior stakeholder meetings
- Act as chairman/chairwoman of the KYC Luxembourg Forum
- Act as face to and CLM representative to the DB Luxembourg Management Board
- Acts as a role model in relation to the values and beliefs and manages the function in line with internal policies and guidance and regulatory requirements
- Drives continuous improvement of people, process and technology

**Education, knowledge and working experience**:

- 15+ years of working experience in
