**Job Description**:
We are looking for our new **Head of Accounting**, and if you have experience in managing global accounting, consolidation and FinOps and if you are used to collaborate cross-departmentally with stakeholders of the finance processes, this is the right role for you
- You will have overall responsibility for the **general ledger of the Group entities** and ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards, across various jurisdictions
- You will **supervise and manage the Group’s accounting** and have overall responsibility for the Group’s intercompany landscape and consolidation
- You will **manage external audit processes** and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth planning, process and completion of the stand-alone audits and the Group’s consolidated audits
- You will be responsible for **+15 people globally**, supervise and guide finance staff including accounting and controlling, consolidation, finance operations and business information
- You will develop, improve, and implement effective and harmonized finance operations/internal controls/accounting processes Group-wide
**Qualifications**:
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience in **senior in-house accounting management roles** in multinational company, Big4 experience is a plus
- Knowledge of **Lux GAAP** and several years of **hands-on consolidation** experience, a plus would be if you have experience with IFRS & Hun GAAP too
- A Certified Accounting qualification - **ACCA**, **CPA**, **CIMA**, etc. with significant post-qualification experience
- Experience in **managing teams remotely**:
- Experience with **D365/SAP**, if you know how to work with Sigma Conso would be even better
