**Head of Finance (M/F/d)** at FWU Life Insurance Lux S.A.

**Your mission**
- Protect and develop the life insurance company's revenues and profits by providing financial projections and accounting services to achieve full financial control of the organization;
- Oversee the life insurance company's investments, define investment guidelines as well as understand and monitor its asset portfolio;
- Lead and develop the members of the Finance department of our Luxembourg based life insurance company (Accounting Team, Controlling Team);
- Play an instrumental role in establishing a great collaboration within and among the teams, the department, and on an interdepartmental level within the life insurance company, and among all branches and entities;
- Further play an instrumental role in establishing full compliance with our company culture and guiding principles;
- Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale;
- Develop strategies to facilitate and promote growth;
- Always keep a holistic view of the company in real time;
- Lead the company's tech revolution within the Finance resort.

**You **
- hold a relevant Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Audit, or Accounting, or MBA (Management specialization);
- have at least 8-10 years of extensive experience in a similar position with a strong and in-depth experience in the financial industry in Luxembourg, more precisely the (life) insurance industry;
- have a solid and demonstrated experience in Finance ERP systems implementation within the financial industry (ideally in the insurance industry);
- have a solid practical experience in leading a digital change team in the implementation of new ERP system;
- have an excellent knowledge of finance processes, closing procedures, controlling tasks, and reporting;
- bring in a deep investment management know-how;
- have a structured mindset with great planning skills ensuring that key deadlines and deliverables are met;
- drive processes and work independently, are a strategic thinker and planner, are highly results-driven;
- have excellent stakeholder management skills, and foster and cultivate business opportunities and partnerships;
- are motivated by joining a company with great opportunities to impact the finance processes and operating model;
- create and assess financial statements and budget documents;
- have experience in partnering with an executive team;
- have advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software;
- have a strong experience in Lux GAAP bookkeeping for insurance companies;
- have exceptional communication skills, have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French and German would be considered an important asset, any other European language is considered a plus;
- are intellectually curious and eager to learn in a changing and fast-growing environment;
- have an excellent analytical capability, both quantitative and qualitative;
- have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses;
- use critical thinking to make decisions and solve problems;
- have a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency;

- Execute the financial strategy of the company and drive the company’s financial planning;

- Ensure credibility of the Finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts;
- Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company;
- Are overall responsible for processes and quality assurance of finance deliverables (accounting, cash management, controlling, audit, reporting);
- Continuously develop and optimize finance workstreams in close collaboration with key stakeholders;
