As a **R&D Project Manager** in **Product Development** department of CERATIZIT Hard Material Solutions, you will be managing both internal and external development projects for the **Hard Material Solutions** (HMS) division. Your focus responsibility will primarily be on welded products (hard metals to steel welding), and secondarily on Additive Manufactured product (FFF & Binder Jetting).

**Your tasks**:

- Strong tracking of your projects and pushing them within the organization
- Developing in-depth knowledge of joining processes & related phenomena, mainly considering welding hard metals to steels but also brazing, glueing, shrink-fitting.
- Conduct and drive tests to evaluate different parameters (metallurgical aspects, process statistical control and monitoring techniques, evaluation of weldability on different hard metals or steels )
- Definition of analytical tests to carry-out during a development or troubleshoot (as an example : SEM-EDW XRD Mechanical tests, corrosion tests)
- Binder-based Additive Manufacturing : Overall understanding of AM processes and definition & Tailoring of feedstock properties

**Your profile**:

- Hold a PhD or Master Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering or similar. Holding an IWE diploma is preferred.
- Welding science knowledge is a must, Additive Manufacturing knowledge is a strong asset
- Showing strong analytical skills as well as a high level of autonomy and proactivity
- Results oriented mindset, with a willingness to push your projects
- Having knowledge in Material Sciences
- Having a first experience in Project management
- Speaking fluently English and French. German will be considered as a strong asset.
