To complete our team in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to cover the following tasks:
- Ensure the daily recording of transactions (general and analytical) for Luxembourg and its branches
- Contribute to the reconciliation of intra-group accounts, including with the sister bank in Switzerland
- Take charge of finance-related tasks such as the payment of invoices and expense claims, and the calculation of commissions
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings (Lux GAAP, IFRS or applicable standards)
- Preparing calculations relating to external asset managers and business introducers (internal or external)
- Prepare various regulatory or tax declarations (VAT, CSSF, BCL declarations, etc.) under supervision
- Participate in the automation of accounting processes (banking ERP, digital tools)
- Working with internal and external auditors during audit assignments
- Assist with the consolidation of accounting data for the European branches
- Monitor & update budgets and forecasts for Mirabaud Group entities
**Qualifications**
- Higher education in accounting, finance or management;
- Initial experience in accounting, ideally in the banking or financial sector;
- Basic knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards (LUX GAAP), familiarity with IFRS would be an asset;
- Excellent command of MS Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word...) Temenos & SAP knowledge a plus;
- Analytical mind, rigor, organisational skills and respect for deadlines;
- Team spirit and willingness to learn in a multicultural environment;
- Fluent French and English (written and spoken), Spanish is an asset;
