Program Progress Control Lead

Function:
Ownership of the program control performance progress view creating the right level of visibility on the program performance development and progress.
Ownership of coordinating with his/her team the program progress action plan within a matrix organization of internal and external stakeholders.
Ownership of monthly aggregated reporting progress plan to the program management leadership team.
Ownership of challenging fairly stakeholders and teams on their own progress plan and report.
Management of the portfolio progress control managers team.
Responsibility:
Responsible to drive improvement plan on transversal activities across the different stakeholders into the program.
Responsible to drive and ensure coordination with all stakeholders [ clusters, EPCm, OEMs, PMC, Procurement, Engineering, schedule, other disciplines leads] to secure a proper alignment on progress performance view
Responsible to challenge data sources and reports and bring clarity.
Responsible to monitor and control the program performance progress versus baseline, actuals and forecast on all key milestones & key metrics of safety, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, schedule, cost, risk.
Responsible to monitor and control the program critical path on all angles and provide clarity and options on the path forward.
Responsible to aggregate the reports of the different stakeholders in 1 unique program performance view.
Responsible to drive the performance program progress reviews.
Responsible to issue the monthly program performance report and to manage the improvement plan accordingly in a complex matrix environment.
Responsible to issue the weekly-bi weekly flash report.
Responsible to resolve or escalate variances issues to right level of organization.
Responsible to manage the team of program portfolio manager leads
Responsible to closely tie up with cost control team.
Geographical scope of mission:
The position is based in Luxembourg and reports to the program development lead **.**
Weekly/bi-weekly travels at European level is required to interact with key stakeholders.

**Profile**:
Education: Engineer master’s degree
Minimum professional experience of 5-10 years in large capital project control management preferably in steel industry, successful business control development experience, having worked closely with EPCs and/or EPCMs and/or PMCs and operations teams
Software skills : Primavera P6, SAP, Microsoft project, Power BI, offices package [excel, Power point,..],
Good communication (discussion, presentation, meetings preparation)
Ability to navigate through a multi-cultural, international environment, developing solid relationships with different stakeholders
Well organized
