Responsible for further development of Market Risk & Product Control unit, focussing on daily market risk reporting, limit adherence checks, proper valuation of financial instruments, independent compilations of profit and loss figures, and reconciliation between different systems.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
In this role you will be involved into risk controlling of all trading and treasury activities for Bank Julius Baer Europe S.A. such as interest rate, credit spread and liquidity risk. These activities include comprehensive reporting to the local Management, the Supervisory Board, the Head Office, as well as the CSSF. You assure transparency of incurred risks and maintain an adequate risk appetite framework and risk management framework. You are contributing to the further development of risk strategies and its adaptation to the changing needs. You assure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and best practice including the yearly ICAAP/ILAAP process, Recovery Plan, IRRBB, stress testing and regulatory requirements for sustainability and climate risks. You assure the implementation of global standards and support Global functional team work as well as the daily operations in terms of risk calculation (risk scenarios), limit monitoring.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Banking experience required
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards of Luxembourg
- Extensive knowledge of ICAAP and ILAAP regulatory guidelines
- Profound knowledge in IRRBB and Stress Testing
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Excel/VBA power user, knowledge of databases, ability to extract necessary information from data for further analysis
- Able to oversee complexity
- Distinguished flexibility and efficiency
- Able to work under time pressure
- Be decisive, proactive and act with care and assertiveness
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a competitive environment
