Praemia REIM is an independent pan-European real estate platform managing over €38 billion in assets under management across 7 European countries.
As part of the Praemia REIM Group, Praemia REIM Luxembourg serves as its European fund management hub, offering real estate investment vehicles tailored for international investors, with Pan-European strategies. Praemia REIM Luxembourg is a fully authorized Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM).
We are currently seeking a Risk Manager to join our team.
Your responsibilities:
- Be part of the Risk Management team, reporting directly to the Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management,
- Monitor and review the risk profiles of the managed funds,
- Oversee risk limits and ensure funds comply with their defined risk profiles and investment limits,
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports for the Risk Committee, Board of Directors and the regulatory authorities,
- Implement consistent structures and procedures across all managed funds including the development and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRI),
- Carry out periodic stress tests in collaboration with Fund Managers,
- Support the review of investment decisions and liaise with funds’ stakeholders,
- Contribute to updating and enhancing the risk management policy, procedures, and overall framework,
- Measure and monitor operational risks faced by the AIFM.
- Track and follow-up on risk incidents,
- Collaborate with Compliance and Internal Audit functions to strengthen internal controls,
- Lead due diligences activities on AIFM’s delegates,
- Assist in analyzing and implementing regulatory changes,
- Participate in various internal projects to support business objectives.
**Votre profil**
Profile:
- Academic degree in finance, economics, management or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Luxembourg AIF industry
- Prior experience in risk management, control and/or audit functions is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of the AIFM environment and Luxembourg regulatory framework is essential
- Interest in real estate investments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in an additional European language is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a pragmatic and hands-on mindset;
- Self-motivated, proactive and detailed-oriented, with excellent organizational abilities.
