The Luxembourg Stock Exchange is looking for a:
**Corporate Business Analyst**

Permanent contract (F/M)

We are looking for a proactive individual with an appetite to learn and grow within our Strategic and Corporate Development team.

Tasks/missions

You can expect to develop advanced problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a deeper understanding of the financial market infrastructure landscape as well as the broader financial services industry.

Your tasks typically, include:

- Critically analyse business plans and conduct research and valuation on potential acquisition targets;
- Lead support in monitoring the existing investment portfolio;
- Prepare presentations and supplementary materials for LuxSE’s senior management and conduct analyses to support the development and execution of the company’s overall strategy;
- Research and evaluate market trends, competitive benchmarking, emerging challenges / opportunities to form strategic insights and potential implications for LuxSE;
- Partner with colleagues from various business units to develop and deliver new business and product ideas and initiatives;
- Undertake monitoring reviews on the portfolio management entities at appropriate intervals and support the S&CD team during due diligence exercises on new investment opportunities;
- Help formulate M&A and divestiture strategies incl. identification and prioritization of M&A targets, as well as due diligence processes;
- Provide guidance and support for the daily management of financial operations to selected start-up companies in our portfolio i.e. cash management, accounting and similar matters.

Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any pertinent field (e.g.: business, finance,);
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (incl. internships) in strategy and management consulting companies, in-house strategy teams, Private Equity firms, M&A advisory boutiques, or investment banking;
- Experience in financial market analysis, business case development and financial modelling, M&A and corporate strategy formulation, target screening, commercial and operations due diligence and good understanding of legal contracts;
- Advanced understanding of the financial market infrastructure landscape as well as the broader financial services industry;
- Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel;
- Proficient in conducting detailed analyses and presenting insights clearly, with the ability to synthesize complex information and connect strategic thinking to financial details;
- Positive team player, eager to take on responsibilities, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- Full professional proficiency in English, any other language, especially French, German and Luxembourgish are an asset.
