To develop the team, our client is looking for a Financial Controller (M/F/x).
Our client is an international organization which has been actively developing for more than 70 years and is present on continents around the world. The group has established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of the world market for the largest manufacturers of home and garden products. The Luxembourg office is located in the South-West.
**Responsibilities**:
Coordinate the receipt of local reporting packages from subsidiaries and verify its accuracy, completeness and reasonableness, including managing of consolidation entries
Conduct an analysis of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow and prepare periodical reports to be shared with Global Leadership Team
Collaborate on the preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures and monthly consolidated reports to Global Leadership Team, the Board, and/or external parties as required
Work with cross-functional departments, such as finance local teams, FP&A, legal, tax, treasury, to provide support serving as a key contact point related to the consolidation process ensuring timely resolution of issues
Collaborate on the analysis of complex IFRS matters and on the implementation of changes arising from regulatory or accounting standards in the consolidation and reporting solutions
Profile
Chartered accountant (or equivalent)
A proven professional experience of minimum 5 years (including internship) in a comparable position or an auditing firm
Experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with proven track record in group structures consolidation and reporting
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
SAP FI/CO (BFC) is considered as a plus
Excellent command of written and spoken English
A finance professional with a good understanding of large and complex business structures and with strong analytical, problem-solving and consolidation skills
An individual who is highly organised and resourceful with ability to prioritize workload to achieve objectives under tight deadlines
Hands-on approach coupled with a 'can do' attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
