Financial Controller

**Responsibilities**:
**Accounting and Financial Reporting**
- Manage all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, interpreting key metrics to drive business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with tax (VAT, payroll taxes, Corporate Taxes) in multiple jurisdictions
- Continually improving processes to drive accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
- Lead the Group Audit and liaise with external accounting and payroll partners.

**Financial Planning & Analysis**:

- Develop, monitor, and forecast budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct financial analysis, including P&L and cash flow forecasting, to support strategic decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing financial performance.

**Treasury & Cash Management**:

- Manage ClearSpace’s financial assets and oversee treasury functions, including liquidity management, investments, and capital allocation.
- Design and implement cash flow management strategies to optimize the use of funds across the business.

**Risk Management & Compliance**:

- Identify and proactively manage financial risks associated with space technology and operations, including cost overruns, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, including those related to tax, reporting, and auditing.

**Project Financial Controlling**
- Act as a trusted financial partner for the programs, collaborating closely with Program Managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee financial controlling for programs, ensuring strict monitoring of expenditures against approved budgets and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and revisions of program budgets, conducting monthly reviews of project performance against budgeted targets with Program Managers.
- Provide accurate forecasts and estimated costs at completion, highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends that may impact project outcomes.
- Perform ad-hoc financial controlling tasks as required.

**Must Have**:

- A qualified accountant with minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in financial management in a multi-country business;
- Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with autonomy, and meet deadlines;
- Capacity to synthesize complex financial information and ability to translate financial data into business understanding and expertise;
- Very strong skills in budgeting, controlling, financial forecasting, planning and analysis;
- Experience in building state of the art dashboards and reporting for specific target groups;
- Ability to contribute to decision-making processes with other stakeholders;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Effective collaboration and communication;
- Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Proficient in English and French

**Nice to Have**:

- Knowledge of Odoo is a plus
- Knowledge of IFRS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €85,000.00 - €115,000.00 per year
