**About The Role**:
Vivid Money S.A. (as a part of the Vivid Money Group) is our electronic money institution which is registered and licensed in Luxembourg. The company offers payment services to both B2C and B2B segments, with a primary focus on serving SMEs. The payment account serves as the cornerstone of Vivid's product offerings.

We are seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for Vivid Money S.A. to lead our small risk team and manage an efficient, modern risk management function. Given our size, we are looking for someone who is hands-on but also able to coach and support the growth of junior team members.

As CRO, you will enhance Vivid's risk framework and oversee all company risks, with a strong focus on non-financial and, particularly, technology risks.

As far as the risk framework is concerned, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and their team, who oversee regulatory compliance, particularly Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risks. While deep compliance expertise isn't mandatory, it's important that you possess a solid understanding of AML principles, demonstrated through relevant certifications.

**Your Mission**:

- Build and put in place a solid risk management framework that supports Vivid’s goals.
- Identify, assess, and prioritise risks across all parts of the business, including technology, operational, financial, regulatory, and business risks.
- Create and carry out plans to reduce risks and limit any negative effects on the company.
- Set up and maintain clear risk policies and procedures to follow laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide regular risk updates to the Board, pointing out key risks, trends, and how they’re being handled.
- Organise training sessions and workshops to help teams better understand and manage risks.

**Your Profile**:

- At least 10 years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably in a FinTech.
- Strong understanding and proven experience with technology risks, ideally starting your career in ICT risk management or consultancy, and later expanding into broader areas of risk.
- Solid understanding of AML, ideally supported by relevant certifications such as ACAMS.
- Alignment to our company values and ability to convey them to the rest of the team - you are customer-obsessed, unstoppable, owner and radically honest;
- Strong attention to detail; highly driven and ambitious;
- Excellent written and spoken English skills;
- Based in Luxembourg or willing to relocate.
