**Position Overview**:
Hillwood Investment Properties (HIP) is seeking to hire an **Accounting Manager** (Manager) based in **Luxembourg**, reporting to the Fund Controller. The Manager will be responsible for the managing a portfolio of companies and producing financial statements of the Luxembourg Fund and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

**Responsibilities**:

- Review consolidated financial reports (monthly / quarterly / annually) using IFRS for European group companies by liaising with other Finance hubs, business personnel, and third-party service providers.
- Assist with the review and preparation of quarterly investor reporting for assigned Funds.
- Assist with relevant tax, regulatory and statutory reporting with the support of third-party service providers.
- Liaise with US and EU-based External Auditors to complete all necessary reporting and investigation associated with financial reports and address any issues or recommendations raised within the Fund Financials Statements.
- Act as internal point of contact for third-party matters (auditors, tax consultants etc.) to answer any questions within relevant business area and help with ad hoc requests as needed, ensuring relevant information is provided in a timely fashion.
- Partner closely with HIP staff and external advisors throughout the transaction process, including the purchase or sale of Real Estate Assets.
- Perform key controls on the NAV and IRR production process via reviews of data provided by the Fund Administrator and extracted from appropriate sources, investigating potential risks identified.
- Assist with invoice approvals and transaction payments.
- Producing internal reporting on European funds as required by executive teams.

**Required Skills/ Abilities**:

- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- Ability to work independently and proactively, when necessary, but must always be a team player
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English, German language strongly preferred.
- Flexibility / adaptability,
- Initiative, proactive, resourceful, strong work ethic, team player
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 3-5 years' experience within Fund Accounting or Audit.
- Consolidation experience required.
- Experience in dealing with Real Estate Funds strongly preferred.
- ACCA certified or similar, strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Lux GAAP / US GAAP preferred.
