Founded in 1856, the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. From its foundation, the BIL has always played an active role in the development of the Luxembourg economy. It currently operates in retail, private and corporate banking, as well as on major capital markets. Employing more than 1 800 people, the BIL is present in the financial hotspots that are Luxembourg, Switzerland, and China.
**Responsibilities**:
As a member of the central PMO team, you will assist the bank’s Delivery Organisation by:
- Ensuring timely delivery of project KPI’s and produce standard reporting;
- Managing resources and organize on-boarding of new project staff;
- Ensuring budget tracking and reporting;
- Ensuring global Risk, Issues, Change and Dependencies tracking and reporting;
- Preparing meetings, draft minutes and action plans and ensure follow-up;
- Tracking deliverables and monitor resources;
- Maintaining Portfolio master plans based on the input of individual project planning and the overall BIL project portfolio planning;
- Providing operational support to the Release/Project management;
- Identifying and driving continuous enhancement actions to improve Program/Project performance;
- Performing PMO activities such as access management, provisioning of workplaces and infrastructure, timesheet controlling, project document management (completeness and quality), maintaining Program calendar, maintaining the Program Handbook, tools administration (Sharepoint, Clarity, ), etc.;
- Assisting the central PMO team in managing the global bank project portfolio.
Must Have Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics or Finance management or similar through experience;
- Experience (min 6 years) in supporting a PMO team on large and complex Programs combining Agile and Waterfall projects. A financial background would be an asset;
- Strong analytical skills, methodical, structured, rigorous and hands-on;
- Stress-resistant and strong soft skills (communication, cross-cultural people management, coaching/training);
- Team player and willing to learn and develop new competencies;
- Knowledgeable in Project Performance (Waterfall and Agile delivery). Previous project management experience and/or certification in a project management method (e.g. PRINCE II, PMP) is an asset;
- Proficient with Ms Office tools (Ms Excel, Ms Access, Ms Powerpoint, Sharepoint). Knowledge and experience with Clarity/OWB or another PPM tool, Jira, HP ALM and Reporting tools (VBA, BI, DataIku, etc) are considered a plus;
- Fluent in English and French, efficient communicator, verbally and written.
