As the headquarter in Luxembourg is newly established with the recruitment of the CFO, the company is now looking to extend the team by recruiting a Consolidation and Reporting Manager (M/F/x).
Our client is a leading and global manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Luxembourg. The group's portfolio includes several products and services brands designed to support the diverse requirements of the producers across the five continents. The firm has over 550 employees with eight world class production sites located in the United States, Belgium, Germany, Argentina, China, France, Italy and South Africa (turnover (2020): approximately € 130MM).
This person will be part of the Global Finance Team and will report directly to the Group Controller. By working in an accurate and methodical manner the Consolidation & Reporting Manager fulfil an important role within a dynamic and motivated Accounting & Finance international team.
Principal Responsibilities
In close collaboration with the Group Controller, the Consolidation & Reporting Manager will be in charge of:
Consolidation (60%)
Technical consolidation in the system (monthly basis)
Issuance of monthly reporting package in IFRS
Ensure compliance of financial reports to IFRS and acting as Centre of Excellence for accounting questions under IFRS
Issuance of annual consolidated Financial Statements and coordination of the annual audit
Group controlling (40%)
Assistance with required periodic analyses
Assistance with forecasts and budgets exercises
Work closely with the Group Corporate Controller and the CFO, the different financial controllers of company subsidiaries (Belgium, Italy, Argentina, USA ).
Accreditation/Experience Requirements
Master's degree in accounting or Finance
Minimum 4 years of experience in a finance position
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Big 4 would be a real advantage
Relevant experience in industry sector, preferably in an international environment
Good accounting, consolidation and IFRS knowledge
IT skills (Excel & ERP)
Fluent in English and French
Rigorous (++), reliable, team worker, good communication skills
Work environment, physical demand
Physical presence at HQ offices in Luxembourg required
Physical presence 2 times 2 days in Verviers area (BE) per month minimum
Possibility of 1day/week of Home Office
Budget responsibilities, autonomy
**Annual package**: 60-75k €/year (depending on experience)
