What you can expect

The Group Consolidation Accounting Manager supports the consolidation of financial statements for our global group of companies. Reporting functionally to the Head of Corporate Financial Consolidation & Reporting, this role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate and compliant group financial reporting in line with IFRS standards. He/She will support the monthly and year-end consolidation process, liaise with subsidiaries worldwide and work closely with the Group consolidation team, group auditors and senior leadership. The Group Consolidation Accounting Manager will also be involved in defined projects on a global level in order to improve financial processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Support Group accounting team with the monthly, quarterly annual group consolidation process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting (IFRS)
  • Maintain and improve group consolidation systems and processes, with strong focus on automation and real-time data integration, in particular roll-out of Tagetik
  • Collaborate with the tax team to map the data points required for Pillar 2 and assist in the automation on the GloBE compliance
  • Coordinate with finance teams in subsidiaries to ensure timely submission of financial data and consistency in accounting policies
  • Perform intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations and accounting for acquisitions/ disposals
  • Support external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to queries
  • Collaborate on technical accounting issues, including business combinations, impairments and equity transactions. Contribution to the improvement of accounting processes and involvement in transversal projects such as digital transformation, ESG disclosures, ERP optimization and internal restructuring
  • Support in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to headquarter

What you will bring

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting with background as financial accountant, controller or auditor
  • Very good SAP, Tagetik and MS Office skills
  • Hands-on mentality, but also with a conceptual mindset
  • Proven expertise in project management
  • Good understanding of Pillar II
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks and work within a dynamic and complex environment
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, another language is a plus (French or German preferably)
