**Your area of work**

As Business Controller, you will actively support senior management to steer the area while providing all-important information at the right time. In a dynamic, client and technology-oriented environment you will be in charge of controlling tasks and defining new ways to measure and report relevant financial information to enable the management to identify opportunities and risks. You will act as single point of contact for the management of the Post-Trade businesses.

The Financial Planning and Analytics Section supports Deutsche Börse Group Pre
- & Post Trade management in planning, coordination and management accounting activities by providing the necessary tools and information. It is responsible, in particular, for the planning and forecasting process, internal budget and cost management, revenue controlling, and internal financial reporting.

**Your responsibilities**
- Support in month-end closing activities
- Preparation and presentation of financial reports for the Executive Management of the Post-Trade Area
- Support in planning, forecasting and monthly reporting for Post-Trade in liaison with business and Post-Trade IT
- Preparation of budget performance reviews including variance analysis
- Support preparation of ad hoc analysis
- Active development of the existing financial (SAP based) reporting
- Active Project support ie budget and measure tracking as well as development of underlying financial models (business case)
- Participation in the implementation of new controlling requirements

**Your profile**
- University degree in business administration and/or comparable education
- Work experience from Internships in Controlling and Financial Reporting environment
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively accross all seniority levels, in English, German in addition would be an advantage
- Willingness to learn: prioritizing competing responsibilities, work under pressure, meet challenging deadlines and capability to build and maintain effective business relationships
- Excellent analytical and technical skills, first insights in use of MS Office, SAP ERP/R3 and SAP BW
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Persuasive, and accurate way of working with a proactive structured approach
- High degree of flexibility
