**Role Purpose**:
You will partner with functional leaders (networks, category management, finance) as well as with key supplier stakeholders to reconcile top-down financial plans with bottom-up operational plans, and provide the management with the ability to strategically direct the businesses. Next to that you will arrange demand and supply planning at local and global levels and will influence global supply plans to mitigate demand and/or supply risks.
You will also collaborate with logistics operations to optimize global inventory levels and secure timely and cost-effective supply.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Be accountable for developing and directing the overall strategy, governance, and implementation of Demand & Supply Planning
- Form a companywide strategic roadmap to improve S&OP maturity, enabling process design and adoption through technology and data research and analysis (e.g., SAP IBP)
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual Planning Processes with cross-functional heads from SCM, Networks, Finance, and strategic supply partners to secure business strategy, and address demand/supply risks
- Manage rigor in the monthly S&OP process and ensures a seamless and efficient orchestration of planning between global and local teams
- Drive a consensus view of the Global Demand and Supply Plan (Advising the senior management team on investment priorities by connecting current and future business needs and opportunities)
- Continuously drive better planning business practices to meet the growth requirements of the Networks
- Set the planning standards, KPIs and drives the performance of the core supply processes.
- Run the continuous improvement in the supply chain by fostering a culture of problem-solving and striving for stretch targets
- Guide and ensure that category management teams are equipped with the right insight regarding planning future capital investment and opportunities for cost and cash improvements.
- Establish a repeatable supply planning cadence with suppliers to ensure commitments to rolling 12 months supply plans.
- Ensure that KPIs are agreed upon, tracked, communicated, and corrective actions are taken when deviating and reported back to senior management in time.
- Supervise a team of supply planners and fosters the use of advanced planning/research/forecast/predictive tools (enabling orchestration of the demand and supply planning process).
**Core Competencies**:
- Sound understanding of Telco technology, products, and supply/consumer market
- Transformation/change management experience across multiple geographies
- Deep knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain
- Demand and Supply Planning/S&OP experience (preferred)
- Proven track record in the strategic and operational management of supply chain in a complex and fast-moving landscape
- Visible authentic management skills to inspire the wider organization to support the transformation into a Demand and Supply Planning operating mode
- Excellent relationship management capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, alignment, and commitment
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders and ability to provide direct influence on vendors to ensure delivery,
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Networks, Supply Chain, Finance, and third parties
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- University degree (Masters/MBA preferred)
