**Job Description**:

We have one role focused on real assets and another on the private equity side of the business.
As a valued member of the corporate secretarial business line, you will work on a market-leading portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of Board Governance and ensuring strong communications between fund administrators and fund accountants. In this role, you will perform your governance function to the highest of standards, providing valued input to the Board on all relevant board governance issues. You will also need excellent communication skills, strong regulatory awareness, and proven leadership ability.
Your role will include the following duties:
- Ensuring that policies and procedures are followed to promote and maintain a leading governance and control framework
- Managing the team’s client portfolio, to ensure the corporate administration requirements are met in line with SLA and regulatory requirements
- Creating and maintaining excellent working relationships as an “A” level authorized signatory
- Attending and managing the Board’s business from A to Z; ensuring the team set the agendas, take and distribute the minutes, and handling all associated follow up
- Ensuring the prompt preparation, and circulation of financial statements
- Liaise with authorities, notaries, lawyers, Luxembourg regulators, creating strong relationships
- Manage and mitigate corporate risk through regulatory compliance
- Supervise and manage less experienced colleagues, managing their workloads, ensuring training needs are attended to, and work appropriately billed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a fund administration or corporate governance role in Guernsey, Jersey, Ireland or Luxembourg
- Excellent understanding of the regulatory environment for alternative funds and strong knowledge of the private equity sector
- Experience managing client relationships
- Preferably, you will be ICSA or ILA qualified
- Excellent English, both written and verbal
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to form lasting relationships
- A strong understanding of the offshore regulatory environment is essential
- An ability to work in an international environment
