**_Job Description _**:

- We have an exciting opportunity within our Private Banking team in the Luxembourg Branch. _
- Handelsbanken Luxembourg Branch started its activities in 1978 and is part of Handelsbanken Global Banking. We support the Bank’s customers in the focus markets (mainly Sweden and Norway) with their international business. The Branch core business is Private Banking (Discretionary and Investment Service/ Execution Only services) and mortgage lending in Spain, Portugal and France. _
- We are looking for an Investment Specialist who will work in the Investment Service (Execution Only) team and who is passionate about building lasting and sustainable business with new and existing clients. This position will report in to the Deputy Head of Private Banking. _
- The main responsibilities will be the following: _
- _Responsible for the overall client experience _
- _Manage client portfolios and interact directly with customers _
- _Build and maintain the business through positive relationships with the clients _
- _Manage client orders _
- _Adherence to all regulatory processes and procedures with a clear respect for and attention to detail _
- _Participate in and take the lead on internal projects _
- _Collaborate with the mortgage team _
- _Represent the Luxembourg Branch and the Private Banking offering within the focus market branch network and externally to the Bank, including our core markets. _

- This position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the entire Private Banking experience in Handelsbanken from the ground up, as well as develop in an international environment and build-up a strong network of contacts. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the success of the overall objectives of the Luxembourg Branch through their work. _

**_Skills & Requirements _**:

- _Proven experience of Investment Services in a home market _
- _A keen interest in learning about all aspects of the Private Banking offering in Luxembourg _
- _Broad experience of client interaction _
- _A proven track record of business development _
- _Basic knowledge of insurance wrappers in an international environment _
- _Swedsec or equivalent certificate _
- _Knowledge of the market and products available to our customers _
- _Strong problem solving and analytical skills _
- _Desire to support and contribute to the development of the team around them _
- _Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish/Norwegian _
- _Organisation skills _
- _Ability to work both independently and in a team in a multi-cultural environment _
- _Takes responsibility for own development and on the job learning_
