**Job Description**:
Our client, a well-regarded global Bank, is looking to hire an Investment Manager in their Wealth Management division to work alongside Relationship Management focusing on investment solutions and client needs.

In this role, you will:

- Act as an investment specialist, understanding the needs of clients, helping to manage client portfolio accordingly; providing investment solutions in line with clients’ requirements and risk profile; at all times adhering to regulatory requirements and company policy and procedures
- Proactively engage with clients on their portfolio; involved in regular investment and service level reviews to ensure meeting of needs against agreed strategy; this may include, but not be limited to, asset (re)allocation, review of lending and financing solutions
- Liaise across departments, working with other Relationship Managers, investment professionals and product specialists to advise clients on their portfolio and suit of solutions available
- Partner with Relationship Managers regarding acquisition of new clients and prospects; involvement in pitches and presentations on capabilities and offering
- Finance related degree, ideally at Masters Level (e.g. MBA, CFA)
- Minimum 5+ year’s investment management experience with focus on Private Banking/Wealth Management sector
- In-depth knowledge of relevant products/ financial instruments (including traditional and alternative asset classes), client portfolio management, solutions and asset allocations for Wealth Management clients
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. MIFID II)
- Excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners
- Fluent German is mandatory & business level English
