**Mission**:
Ensuring the consistency, quality, security, and continuous accessibility of information will be at the core of your responsibilities. Automation of administrative tasks, optimization of databases, and providing technical support to users are crucial aspects of this role. Documenting your tasks will contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, manage, and administer database management systems.
- Ensure the consistency, quality, security, and continuous accessibility of information.
- Automate administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Optimize databases for peak performance.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users.
- Document tasks and processes for reference and training purposes.

**To excel in this role, you should possess**:

- Significant experience in the field of database administration (minimum 5 years).
- Technical skills in information system architecture, database administration and monitoring (including Microsoft SQL Server), programming languages (especially SQL and PowerShell), Windows Server (including clustering - Always On Availability groups), NoSQL knowledge (MongoDB, Cassandra,...), release management in DevOps (Jenkins), and familiarity with big data concepts (SAPRK - considered an advantage).
- Proactive, rigorous, and methodical approach to work.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours.
- Strong written communication, analysis, and synthesis skills.

**Education and Certifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications are considered advantageous.

**Other Skills**:

- Proficiency in French and English (B1 level minimum); knowledge of Luxembourgish is an asset.
