CTG IT Solutions is an IT Services Company dedicated to European Institutions. We are currently hiring a Database Administrator, to join the multicultural team of a prestigious European Institution in Luxembourg.
Your mission
You install, configure and maintain database system software to support the normal business operation
You manage database migrations to 19C
You monitor system performance and identify problems that arise
You perform database refreshes upon request
You manage database security and permissions
You manage backup and recovery of databases using RMAN and ensure that the database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered in the event of disaster
You configure& administrate Oracle High Availability solutions using DataGuard
You suggest changes and improvements for database maintenance, performance, reliability and protection
**Profile**:
You hold a Master's degree in IT and minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience or a Bachelor's degree in IT and minimum 7 years
You are fluent in French and in English (another European language is nice to have)
You have a good experience with Oracle 11g, 12C and 19C
You have experience with Oel plus basic scripting skills and with Oracle Clusterware & RAC. MySQL is an asset
You are a team player who likes to work in an international environment
