HI Partners is currently hiring a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join a Luxembourgish strucutre.
This position is an in-house role based in Luxembourg, requiring fluency in both German and French. As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and cost-efficiency.
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial control or a related role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Fluency in both German and French is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of Luxembourg financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
