**Financial Controller**
We are looking for a skilled and experienced financial controller to oversee our accounting and financial operations. As a financial controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and leading and supporting our accounting team.
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least five years of relevant experience, and a CPA certification. You should also have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and standards, financial analysis and strategy, and internal control policies and procedures. You should also have strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work with various stakeholders and executives.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Manage all accounting and financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory and tax reporting and filings for all entities
- Research and resolve accounting and financial issues and discrepancies
- Support and participate in internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff and provide technical and interpersonal guidance
- Improve efficiency and profitability by implementing and improving accounting systems, procedures, and controls
- Manage and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and other external stakeholders
**Your background**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or ACCA certification preferred
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in a senior role
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment
