**_What’s the role?_**
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the Luxembourg entity and become a key member of our team as we continue to substantially grow our business and build out our European operating model.
The role sits within the Investor Services, Registration Department and is directly accountable to the Client and Investor On-boarding and AML/KYC Director.
**_ _**_What you’ll be doing_**
**Managerial**
- Drive enhanced business performance, measured through operational improvements and reduction of risk.
- People line management.
- Development/enhancement of team specific procedures, user guides and job aids.
**Operational**
- Lead client calls and build a strong and trusted working relationship with clients leveraging regular calls to cover new client entity and investor on-boardings and all associated periodic reviews and resolution of AML/KYC matters.
- Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operational execution and service delivery of the Luxembourg Registration Department including the on-boarding and ongoing due-diligence of Clients and Investors in line with regulatory requirements and applicable Gen II policies and procedures.
- As part of the Investor Services Leadership team, work with peers in Investor Services and other departments as part of implementation of the Investor Services European operating model delivering a scalable and robust organisation.
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the register of investors for AML/KYC related reference data as well as all associated reporting provided by the Registrar to internal and external parties.
- Ensure governance and controls are in place via effective KPI’s and metrics. This includes daily and weekly metrics to oversee task allocation between Luxembourg and support locations.
- In collaboration with the Supervisors, perform AML/KYC reviews as well as overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team and build an effective working relationship with the second line of defence Compliance function.
- Manage responses to due-diligence requests from third parties e.g. AIFM, Depositary, etc.
- Preparation of internal and external management reporting.
- Support internal and external audit reviews and client due diligence visits.
**Project Management**
- Create ongoing efficiencies through leading and driving business change for operational matters in close collaboration with the Project Management Office.
- Represent Investor Services on firm wide projects as either a member of a committee or a working group.
**Development of others**
- Coach and mentor teams in relation to regulatory obligations, client activities and Gen II policies and procedures.
- Coach and mentor teams in relation to time management, financial management and prioritisation skills and the importance of managing via metrics in a fast-paced distributed operating model.
- In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, develop Investor Services training that can assist in the onboarding and continued development of team members.
**_The ideal background for this role:_**
**_ Qualifications_**
- Sound academic background, bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- CAMS certified* is an advantage.
**_Experience_**
- 10 years+ experience working within Fund Administration in Luxembourg including leadership roles in registration and transfer agency.
- Performance management, including building out teams and process improvements as part of a distributed operating model (cross jurisdictional).
**_Knowledge _**
- Comprehensive and detailed understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory environment specifically with regards to AML, KYC obligations as well as broad knowledge of the Private Equity and Alternatives financial services industry.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in prioritisation, processes and procedures.
- Superior problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills.
**_Role Location/Hybrid Schedule_**
This role is based in our Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
