For our securities services activities, we are currently looking to recruit a:
**Supervisor Accounting and Valuation Traditional Funds**
**Permanent contract**

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Assistant Manager A&V Traditional Funds, you will work with a multinational team of Supervisors and Senior Fund Accountants dedicated to the review and validation of daily and non-daily Net Asset Valuations.

You will be responsible to supervise any Senior Fund Accountants assigned to your team as well as the supervision and oversight of the various off-shored accounting functions.

You will be responsible for the validation and timely release of the above-mentioned Net Asset
Valuations calculations and related valuation reporting.

As part of the A&V Traditional team, you will continuously strive to enhance the operating model and enforce our control environment with the aim of mitigating and controlling our risks. You will also participate in the production and presentation of the internal reporting for our control and oversight committees.

You will be a primary point of contact for clients in regards to all Fund Accounting related
queries and ensure the highest level of service is provided for the clients assigned to you. You will ensure the identification and prompt reporting of potential gaps and risks that may affect the Group, the clients and the Bank.

In addition, you will provide assistance to superiors in delegated projects/tasks as well as
assisting both the internal and external auditors during the funds and the banks reviews.

Strong collaboration is required with other teams within Service Delivery as well as
other functions within the bank to provide the best possible service to our clients. This
collaboration will include the support and participation to internal and external client meetings, provision of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other forms of reporting.

**In the role, you will**:

- Be responsible for the oversight of the production, accuracy and timeliness of net asset value calculations and valuation reporting release of all assigned Funds.
- Assist the Assistant Manager/Manager in delegated tasks/projects (fund implementation, restructuring, launches, liquidations or other departmental projects).
- Assist with client contacts, and ensuring that all relevant client issues are resolved satisfactorily, within agreed procedures/guidelines.
- Ensure the identification and prompt reporting of potential gaps and risks that may affect the Group, the clients and the Bank.
- Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
- Provide support and guidance to offshore teams in order for the service delivery to be met.
- Ensure procedures and controls are followed.

**Experience and skills required**:

- Professional accounting qualification or equivalent relevant business qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience in fund accounting, ideally in Net Asset Value calculations of daily funds.
- Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting, pricing, financial instruments and fund valuation processes.
- Experience in streamlining, developing and adapting processes to business, clients and regulator’s requirements.
- Ability to monitor onshore and offshore functions to ensure green KPIs are met.
- Strong communication and commitment to ensure quality and timely response of client and third parties queries.
- Ability to support business process re-engineering, identify areas of improvements.
- Experience working with Linedata ICON, pControl, is an advantage.
- Good understanding of fund structures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Luxembourgish funds regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with both clients and colleagues.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral. A second European language such as French is also an advantage.
